Here man like Rumblejazz steps up to contribute to 05 in our mix series. It was literally only a few days ago I really heard his stuff, an brief exchange about programming and coding no less led me onto his production. This blog has continuously banged on about house music meeting dubstep meeting garage and it doesn’t look like we’re about to stop. Rumblejazz’s take on the whole thing is on the more uplifting side, the synths and vocal treatment in the mix absolutely ooze soul. He told me he loved atmosphere in tunes and his production definitely shows that, imagine Joy Orbison DJing from outer space and you get close to his vibe. The mix is mostly made up of dubplates from the man himself but also contain tracks from heads like Joy Orbison, Martyn and Sbtrkt which in context make a lot of sense. Be sure to keep an eye on his Soundcloud for all future movements, MJ Cole is a fan no less.
