Brown Kids On Acid.
XLR8R gave this one out for free last week, Ikonika’s remix of Brown Acid’s Bastard Kids. This is nothing like the harsh synth driven stuff of Please or Sahara Michael she’s put out before but instead sounds like she’s been hanging out with the Night Slugs crew. Slower in tempo and more heavy on the percussion this should get you really excited for the album coming in April. It’s at 128 kbps but should keep you moist until the digital (hopefully) drops. 12″ of course is out now.

Also should point out the guy doing all the artwork for Hyperdub at the moment who operates under the name Optigram. It’s really nice actually that the most sonically exciting music in the world right now also gets some of the most visually rich treatment; Give Up Art, LuckyMe, Alex Sushon (Bok Bok) and Remote Location are just some guys to be on the look out for.
