Right it’s time to get this mix series properly underway. 03 comes from man like M-Pulse aka Impakt, whose previously contributed mixes to Discobelle and Lower End Spasm. This mix wonderfully crafts it’s way through what has been dubbed future garage with techno and grime influences in there. For fans of Night Slugs, Blunted Robots and Starkey.

“I’m one of the DJs of Chateau Lateuf Crew that spread bass music since 2006, we dig everything bass heavy (from dubstep, heavy bass, bmore club, etc..) but these last year the crew seems to go back to it’s roots: mainly dubstep and grime and now in all these new garage scene (wot u call it?). DJing since the mid’90s and my background is really eclectic: rave, uk hardcore, electrobass, IDM, breakcore, dubstep, grime, streetbass (I feel music from Aphex Twin, Xanopticon to Kode9 or Starkey!), and since the end of 2008 I turned into uk funky listening to the Night Slugs show on SubFM. Now I feel really easy with this future sounds scene, I found similarities to some IDM stuff i was playing 10 years ago, but with more groove!”
